| Gore's successful makeover new

Isn't it amazing how much attention has been given to the Kelly-Sue spat? Sue has totally milked it for all its worth, working to cast herself as a "strong, independent woman who speaks her mind." Kelly, meanwhile, is given the opportunity, over and over again, to explain her actions, the reasons behind the alliance, and her commitment to her fellow contestants. When will the media be done with them? At this point, who cares? On the other hand, Al Gore's makeover has been truly amazing. Who would have thought prior to the convention that he'd be able to recast himself, not only as his own man, but as a man women voters are now drawn to and even liberals can learn to tolerate. Hail to the populist message, and the kiss.
