Let No Good Doughnut Go Unpunished: Anti-Abortion Group Protests Krispy Creme’s “Freedom of Choice” Doughnut Giveaway

Ready for this one? The American Life League, a Catholic anti-abortion organization, is protesting Krispy Kreme for offering Americans their “choice” of a free doughnut on Inauguration Day.

Here’s the innocuous press release from Krispy Kreme that caused the uproar:

“Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Inc. (NYSE: KKD) is honoring American’s sense of pride and freedom of choice on Inauguration Day, by offering a free doughnut of choice to every customer on this historic day, Jan. 20. By doing so, participating Krispy Kreme stores nationwide are making an oath to tasty goodies — just another reminder of how oh-so-sweet ‘free’ can be.”

And The American Life League’s response:

“The unfortunate reality of a post Roe v. Wade America is that ‘choice’ is synonymous with abortion access, and celebration of ‘freedom of choice’ is a tacit endorsement of abortion rights on demand. [...]

We challenge Krispy Kreme doughnuts to reaffirm their commitment to true freedom - to the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness — and to separate themselves and their doughnuts from our great American shame.”

Read the full response at Miami New Times. I’ll be in D.C., looking for powdered strawberry!

  1. Cinnamon Says:

So are the donut holes known as unborn donuts?

    Yeesh.

  2. Moto5858 Says:

OMG! Good one, Cinnamon! I am driving to KKreme tomorrow and buying 10 dozen donuts. These effing anti-abortion nuts are wacko - and I love when they show it.

  3. Mark Says:

American Life League - BITE ME! You people are completely out of touch with reality. I’ll be looking for one of those Krispy Kremes, thank you.

  4. Ron Evans Says:

Oh no! Are we guilty of Canabalism when we eat a donut? Are the donut holes really like stem cells and if left alone would produce a better donut? Come on, pull your socks up and find a better target for your anti abortion beliefs.

  5. Mark Says:

Hey, Moto, what are you going to do with all those donuts? How about a “Freedom of Choice” rally?

  6. Barbara Says:

I definitely am supporting Krispy Kreme here!! What can be better than FREE choice??
When will the MORONS of the world understand that you can’t legislate morality and allow people unlike themselves to make their own choices?

  7. Nancy M. Says:

Good grief! Get with the program and let’s all work together. Krispy Kreme is commemorating this historic event by going out of their way to do something nice. What a great idea. Don’t read any more into it than that.

  8. Tim Says:

What a stupid premise. No wonder so many ex-Catholics like me are ex-Catholics.

  9. gordon davies Says:

Crazed bitterness , cripes how small can these spoils be? Just to participate in this historic event in this manner , something to be praised, rather than spoil it for many by foisting their dogma on all.

  10. TG Says:

Awwww Geez… Does that mean I’m now a mass murderer?

  11. Tony Z Says:

Hopefully the The American Life League will allow me the freedom of choice to ignore them. Which I will do.

  12. Tim Says:

No wonder so many ex-Catholics are ex-Catholics

  13. Hiya, Faddah! Says:

Being a lapsed Catholic, whenever I see some bonehead move like this on the part of an anti-choice (notice I didn’t say “pro-life”) group I always have to wonder if they’d want the baby born if it was the offspring of some priest. Hey…at least it would be hetero sex as opposed to what most priests engage in.

  14. Inky Says:

NEVER EAT THE HOLE OR THE DOUGNUT.

  15. jlp Says:

Although I am not a fan of Krispy Kreme (I don’t like their doughnuts and I HATE their spelling!), I think that I will have to participate in this, if only to thumb my nose at the idiocy of the American Life League. That would be the thumb and the nose that are more intelligent than the entire membership of that organization, put together!

  16. Sheldon B. Says:

When will some people get a life? Don’t they have anything better to do than read into something thats not there. Whats next, ban the word choice from the English language? I’m sure the people at Tasters Choice would love that. Or don’t we have any choice anymore?

  17. Realist Says:

Isn’t it curious that the number that a donut resembles (0) and the collective IQ of the American Life League are the same?

  18. Realist Says:

You have it right, Sheldon. Small-minded dolts like the members of the American Life League don’t want us to have choice, they want to make the choices for us, because as we all know, they really do know what’s best for everybody. NOT!

  19. Ryan Says:

I am pretty sure Krispy Kreme is just trying to do whatever they can to save their business, and if giving away FREE doughnuts is what they want to do so be it, but I am sure they had no intentions on pissing the American Life League off like this. They need to get over themselves!

  20. Janet Says:

I am conservative and am anti-abortion but this is about the silliest thing I have ever read. I only wish there was a Krispy Kreme shop near me.

  21. don't like donuts but may eat one anyway Says:

Congratulations, American Life, League - you just Krispy Kreme some great publicity!

  22. Don Davis Says:

I can’t believe that Krispy Kreme backed down as quickly as they did. I guess they don’t believe in “choice”. The American Life League says that KK’s offer was “offensive and demeaning”. I think it is offensive and demeaning that we now have another word that we cannot use anymore thanks to some radical organization without a sense of proportion. Also, I cannot believe that Krispy Kreme would support an organization that puts down our future president by calling him names in their press release about this issue.

  23. MT Says:

At what point in its inception does a donut become a person?

  24. Rich Halpern Says:

It is a shame that the American Life League represents so many narrow minded and uninformed people that has enjoyed a Presidency that has done more harm to America than any Presidency in the last 100 years. Krispy Kreme should be applauded for its desire to make the inauguration of Barack Obama a little sweeter (pun intended). I only hope that the next four years will bring improvement to the economy, the environment, and the minds of the American people. Let’s make tomorrow a party topped with dozens of Krispy Kreme doughnuts.

  25. AmandaB Says:

“Choice” is an amazing word in our society and applies to just about every decision we make, every day. It is part and parcel to the freedom we so love (and often take for granted!). It also affected the American Life League’s decision to be vocal in a way that presents a full measure of their narrow-minded, extremist thinking. I would hope the next “choice” their membership makes is to boot the person who made this decision — one that is wholly irrelevant to the events and celebrations at hand. I’m now going to get another Krispy Kreme glazed out of the box.

  26. Pam Says:

To Sheldon who say that the All American Life League “should get a life:” that is exactly the point of those who support life and oppose abortion! They have a life and they are using it to protect the lives of the unborn, the most vulnerable in our society. This organization issued their statement because they saw the use of “freedom of choice” to be a direct reference to the abortion agenda and to Mr. Obama’s campaign promise to sign the Freedom of Choice Act on January 20.

  27. Mark Says:

    Pam,

NOBODY approves of abortion. However, there are those of us (and we are in the majority) who feel that it’s up to the individual to make her own choice as to whether to continue the pregnancy or not. If you believe that abortion is wrong, then don’t get one. YOU have that choice. Don’t presume to take that choice away from anyone else. It ain’t up to you or your narrow-minded bible-thumping brethren.

  28. Jim Says:

I am not generally a donut eater, but I AM going to KK tomorrow just to shove it in the face of the A.L.L.
But I’m a little worried that if I choose the wrong donut I might be eating a donut stem cell.

  29. Pam Says:

Yes, God gives us choices - choice to believe Him when he says in His word that it is against his law to take another life. God does give us that freedom to choose, and not all choices are easy. I do not advocate taking away a person’s right to make choices, just that we must protect those who cannot choose for themselves, who cannot protect themselves and are dependent on someone else for their life.

  30. Brutus Says:

“Anti-Abortion Group” - your odd language (as opposed to Pro-Life) gives you away. Begone…

  31. Debolobo Says:

Hail to the Chief and Hail to Krispy Kreme! It is TIME to rid ourselves of this mockery we have faced for the past 8 years where ALL of our freedoms and choices have all but been stripped away. I say DONUTS FOR ALL and you “choose” what kind you want. This is America, remember?

  32. Melissa Says:

Nothing makes me happier. I love when these people make idiots out of themselves. They are upset because this is also ushering a new era with regard to RvW. One-issue are voters are starting to think for themselves and move beyond this issue and getting with the program. We all want fewer to no abortions, and we can work together to accomplish that. Bickering over RvW hasn’t gotten them anywhere. People are leaving the movement in hopes of finding better solutions and moving on to more pressing, equally moral issues… healthcare, global warming, ect. The Catholic pro-life movement is dying because they are clowns, proven most recently by this debacle. Serves them right.

  33. Pam Says:

I am leaving this site - your unthinking herd mentality is not what our new President says he is for.

  34. PreferDunkin Says:

I think the bigger point being lost in all of this controversy is just how nasty Krispy Kreme’s are. I don’t need some wack-job fundamentalists to tell me to boycott Krispy Kreme; the hyper-sweet, diabetes-inducing empty calories do the job well enough thank you. My teeth are aching just thinking about them. With their economic fortunes on the wane, I wouldn’t be suprised if they notified these Pro-Life nut cases themselves to generate the positive publicity victim status brings!

  35. David Says:

I might recommend some use some caution in casting your “unthinking herd mentality” stone there Pam, because I find most the religious right rather in that camp….

David (who sure picked the wrong weekend for weather to come back to the area for a visit!!)

  36. Mark Says:

Buh-Bye, Pam. Take your religious fairy tales somewhere else. I don’t believe in a big sky-daddy, so the choices I make are my own.

And again, you have no right to tell anyone else what they may or may not do. RvW is the law of the land, whether you and your bible-thumping ilk like it or not.

  37. Mark Says:

Another thing, Pam: If abortion is against “god’s” law, let “him” enforce it. I didn’t know that you were deputized to enforce “god’s” laws.

I just made another donation to Planned Parenthood.

  38. Msgr. Jack Says:

The Catholic Life League is the product of myopically truncated inbreeding. They are Fundamentalists of the worst sort: Minds closed, I’m right; your wrong, abortion is immutablly evil, and we are persecuted for our beliefs.

Yes, they do need to get a life of their own becasue the only one they have now is for fetuses that have not been born.

As a priest, I am offended that the Catholic Life League demeans not only KK but the very moral they claim to uphold by using this historic event of our nation to pander their anti-abortion agenda.

BTW, not all priests are anti-abortion and some accept that abortion is not always the worst moral evil. Moreover, contratry to the Pope’s statement last year that abortion is beyond the bounds of one’s informed conscience, RC moral theology from the time of St. Augustine, Thomas Aquinas, John Henry Cardinal Neweman, through Vatican Council II states that one’s informed conscience must be the final arbiter of all moral decision making and behavior. In fact, not to act on one’s informed conscience is the greater moral evil than obediance to Church dogam and doctrine when one sincerely beleives the validity of their informed conscience.

  39. Tania Says:

    Pam Says:

Yes, God gives us choices - choice to believe Him when he says in His word that it is against his law to take another life. God does give us that freedom to choose, and not all choices are easy.

So Pam what happens when I don’t believe in your God, then what choices do I have? You are assuming that everyone believes in the same God. That’s where I have a problem, using religion to justify something when everyone does not believe in the same God. Religion just not count as an argument for the masses in my opinion. Separation of church and state please.

Oh and does anyone know how late KK is open, I want to go after my night class. :)

  40. Mom to five Says:

Hmm, interesting comments. What a stir this story has made.

Msgr. Jack - I certainly hope you don’t end up as pastor of my Catholic Church. So, let’s see, if I “sincerely believe” that my “informed conscience” permits me to shoot my husband for cheating on me then the Catholic Church is okay with that? Hmmm? Your comments could never have been written by any Catholic priest worthy of the title of Msgr.

Please don’t share Catholic doctrine that just isn’t true.

As a psychologist, what i find to be most interesting is that on this message board, or any “pro-life vs. pro-choice” thread, the anti pro-lifers (for lack of a better term) always post such seething, angry, hostile remarks. I always wonder what pro-lifers have specifically done to you as an individual to evoke such anger.

With that said, I am a Catholic mother of five children and while I do generally back most pro-life activities, I have to agree that the A.L.L. made something out of nothing on this one. However, I also know that pro-lifers in general are extremely concerned about President Obama signing the Freedom of Choice Act, not just because it secures abortion but because it also would allow women to have partial birth abortions (look those up - if that’s not murder i don’t know what is), it would eliminate parental notification and waiting periods. It would make abortion seem like a trip to the dentist rather than a tragic, life altering medical procedure. I’m not sure if any of you are parents but, if so, do you recall your 20 week ultrasound? If the F.O.C.A is passed babies as old as 24 weeks could be cruelly aborted. I don’t care what anyone says, there is no reason good enough to kill a nearly full term infant.

Most average joe’s don’t really know what the F.O.C.A. really encompasses and the negative impact that it will certainly have on our culture.

BTW, I do love Krispy Kreme, don’t think they did anything wrong, and plan to buy myself some donuts the next time i drive by!

  41. Mark Says:

With regard to shooting your husband, “informed conscience” may keep you out of “god’s” hot water, but the judge & jury isn’t likely to give a rat’s ass about that. You’ll have time to consider your conscience in prison.

I do know what the F.O.C.A contains, and yet, I still feel that it’s up to the woman to decide for herself, not a bunch of pseudo-religious control freaks operating under the guise of “‘god’ told me to.”

  42. Mom to five Says:

    Mark,

I make my comments not even as a Catholic but as a human being. I don’t think any woman or doctor has the right to kill another person. Partial birth abortion means just that -the baby is partially born (its body is out) and then its’ skull is punctured and crushed so that it can fit through the pelvis.

God or no God - that’s just wrong.

If you don’t call that murder then what do you call it? Choice i guess?

  43. Melson Says:

    Mom to Five wrote:

Actually, “Mom to 5,” why don’t you look it up? You might discover that the pro-lifers have hi-jacked this term and turned it into something it’s not. Late-term abortion is one of the fundamental arguements for a women’s right to choose because this procedure is used upwards of 97% of the time in emergency situations where the health of the mother is at stake. Of course, there are always exeptions, but this is the intended purpose of this clause. Further - because I know already where your arguement is going - legislators do try to make specific guidelines to ensure that this procedure is only used for its intended purpose. It is the PRO-LIFERS who continously fight against such measures, opting instead to blanket oppose the entire legislation and brainwash people into thinking we have made abortion “like going to the dentist.” They act as though the health of the mother is some kind made up loophole. You really can’t beleive why we are so angry toward the pro-life community? Really? I’m tired of my health and my freedom being dismissed by these people.

  44. MOTTIE Says:

At what point in the creation process does a mass of moist flour, yeast, eggs and sugar become a living, thinking doughnut?
I thought freedom of choice was cake vs. glazed, bismark vs. long john.

  45. Matt Says:

It takes a village to eat a doughnut. Incidentally, Krispy Kreme donuts are amazing. That being said, isn’t time for those of you who are Catholic to rise up and demand a Vatican III summit? Your church is the laughing stock of Christianity. I mean, people don’t make fun of snake-handling pentacostals. They make fun of you: no female priests, no married priests or nuns, no masturbation, no abortion, no gay marriage — it doesn’t work. With all that repression, of course your clergy is going to become a refuge for sexual deviants. Where else can they go in your religion? You should topple your church government, or defect to other religions that are not insane, or split off into a modernized denomination that isn’t enslaved to Rome. Church doesn’t have to be synonymous with stupidity, hypocrisy, and repression! There’s plenty of good denominations of Christianity out there. Catholics, consider yourselves “glazed.”

  46. woody Says:

Well said Mottie!! And Mom to five, what about the death penalty the religious right seems to think thats OK and as for the comments made so far, have you ever heard the right talk about the left? Jesus would cover his ears!!

  47. Al Says:

It takes a village to eat a donut.& a man and woman in heat to fertilize the woman’s egg. When they feel the heat stop & eat a krispey kreme donut instead. Both of them use the donut for intercourse of the mouth.

I say we in The USA have FREEDOM of CHOICE like buying & using tobacco products and being taxed for that freedom by all levels of USA government, federal, state, county , city , village. Sexual intercouse should be taxed ( entertainment
pleasure tax)and if the egg gets fertilized a manufacturing tax. All freedom choices should be taxed. The village needs revenue. Any choice made freely in the USA must be taxed.

  48. Mom to five Says:

    Matt,
I’m not sure why you hate Catholics so much. If Catholicism is not for you then so be it. No one is asking you to support it or practice it. I happen to love my faith and it has made me a better person than I was before I knew God through the Catholic Church. As for all the priests I have ever know, they have been beautiful people, sharing the teachings of Christ and bringing peace to people’s lives. My children know how to love AND they know tolerance. They know that there are other faiths and that different people believe different things. No church is perfect because churches are run by humans and humans are imperfect by nature.

You think that allowing gay marriages and the freedom to abort have advanced our society? Look around. We are not in very good shape. Look at the state of marriages and families these days. Nothing to be proud of.

All Christians believe in the 10 commandments. And thou shall not kill makes the list. I can’t call myself a Christian (Catholic or snake handling pentacostal) and support abortion.

  49. Melson Says:

    Mom of 5 wrote:
“I’m not sure why you hate Catholics so much. If Catholicism is not for you then so be it. No one is asking you to support it or practice it.”

Just abide by all it’s rules, Matt. Wether or not you believe it or not, all the Cathoilcs are asking is that you allow them to dictate all your choices - not only your moral ones, but also those that pertain to your health and well being. I mean, why are you being so resistant, Matt?

  50. Mark Says:

    Mom of 5 wrote:
“I’m not sure why you hate Catholics so much. If Catholicism is not for you then so be it. No one is asking you to support it or practice it.”

Ah, but you are. By attempting to change the laws of this country, which affect people of ALL religions you are forcing your views on everybody, even those who CHOOSE (there’s that word again) not to practice or support Catholicism.

I don’t hate all Catholics, just the arrogant ones who think their dogma applies to everybody.

  51. rayy Says:

not eating donuts–too much mouse doodoo

  52. Roberta Says:

WOW!!! What a unique way to get into the press and the spot light by complaining about FREE give-aways from Krispey Kreme!! Congrats to The American Life League for pissing off everyone AND getting the attention of everyone including the reporters who I’m sure will have this on the nightly news. The American League evidently knows how to also get FREE press by using (donuts) for their attention. That’s really all they’re doing.

  53. Tom J Says:

‘Mom to five’ should move to a theocracy as she doesn’t agree with the basic fundamentals (as opposed to fundamentalism) of the United States. (And yes, Roberta is correct. Although I hope their attempt backfires on them.)

  54. Dave R Says:

What you didn’t know is that the Grand High Poo-bah of the American Life League is the brother-in-law of the CEO of Krispy Kremes. They knew that this little publicity stunt would result in MASSIVE PROFITS for Krispy Kreme; 10% of which would go as a charitable donation to American Life League.
So you see, the American Life League isn’t so stupid after all!

  55. Jeff s Says:

This is supposed to be the country of the free. Unfortunately there are some misquided morons who feel the need to force everybody else to their views (Oregon man wanting “under God” stricken from the Pledge). And also the only way to “safeguard” our freedoms is to put them into law. Sooner or later we are going to have a law on everything, then this will be a “democratic” tyranny. Whatever happened to respecting each other and keeping our noses out of other people’s business? DCFS, for example. Spanking a child is wrong. For no reason, maybe. If it’s justifiable, It’s not wrong.

  56. MikeCG Says:

I didn’t realize it until this silly controversy brought it to mind, but I guess I’m just plain PRO DONUT HOLE!!! And that’s my CHOICE.

  57. Perfesser Says:

I will no longer give multiple choice exams. Don’t want to incur the rath of A.L.L.

  58. marilyn Says:

“Anti-choice” are the words to use.
This way, “anti-choice vs pro-choice” sums up the whole issue at a glance.

  59. Viva voce Says:

All quotes from the series of posts above:
“These effing anti-abortion nuts are wacko”
“at least it would be hetero sex as opposed to what most priests engage in”
    “Small-minded dolts like the members”
    “wack-job fundamentalists”
“You really can’t beleive why we are so angry toward the pro-life community? Really?”
“Church doesn’t have to be synonymous with stupidity, hypocrisy, and repression!”
“I don’t hate all Catholics, just the arrogant ones…”

Just substitute “Rabbi” for “priest”, or “gay” for “anti-abortion/pro-life”, or “Blacks” for “Catholics” in these posts, and you might see how objectionable (one side of) this debate is. It is very sad. Is this what freedom is for - to heap foul abuse on each other?

  60. Wally Says:

I guess if police officers take advantage of this–someone will yell “POLICE BRUTALITY”

  61. Wally Says:

If eating the free donuts equals abortions; then,
if police officers take advantage of this offer someone
    might yell, “POLICE BRUTALITY.”

  62. Chris Says:

Well of course. Everyone knows that a donut begins life as a hole.

  63. Skye Says:

Doughnuts are a metaphor for sex. Why else do you think men like to take boxes of them to meetings? :-D (Here in the South, it’s standard practice to show up at a meeting with a couple boxes of Krispy Kremes.)

People who are participating in the War Against Sex should not be allowed to eat doughnuts at all, that lovely hole surrounded by tasty, yeasty flesh.

(LOL, seriously… “Life League,” or who ever you people are… this is the dumbest thing I’ve heard lately.)

  64. Pro-Choice Employee Says:

    Mom of 5,

As someone who works in a pro choice setting, I can tell you what has been done to evoke the anger towards the pro-life group.

They stand in front of my place of employment and harass me for going to work. The place I go to daily to provide basic health care, cancer screening, STD treatments and birth control in order to prevent the emotional trauma that might be caused when someone has to make the personal choice to have an abortion. They call my patients names and demean them for making an effort to take care of their health. I have been accused of being a murderer, had fake blood thrown on me, had baby dolls thrown at me and been accused of saving up the babies blood spilled throughout the day to take home and drink at night. I have been followed to my car, my picture taken, video cameras shoved in my face asking how many murders I considered a “good day” at work. I have had my license traced and had people show up at my home, my neighbors have gotten mail asking them if they were aware they lived next door to a serial killer.

I should point out: I DO NOT PROVIDE ABORTION SERVICES.

I have seen grown women being told not to have sex unless they wanted children. I have seen toddlers brought to stand in front of a clinic on a dangerously busy street, crying while their parents rant and rave at patients who are just trying to access basic health care. I have seen women being told that cervical cancer is “God’s Way” of ridding the earth of whores and prostitutes.

Do I hold this against the Catholic religion? No. I understand that the people standing outside right now are irrational and aren’t interested in or willing to learn the reality behind their illusion. They have made a personal choice to feel the way they do.

The issue I have is when THEIR personal choice affects the ability of my patients to access basic health care, to get vaccinations that will prevent cancer, to be on birth control until they are ready and willing to be parents. When their choice takes away my right to choose what diseases I fight and my patient’s right to choose where they get medical care. If a patient is intimidated from walking through our door and then dies of breast cancer because she didn’t get a referral for a mammogram, is that a murder and is it my fault as well?

The anger stems from the abuse I deal with on a daily basis when I come to work to make sure that fewer abortions need to be sought out, and am harassed for doing so.

I have never harmed a living creature in my entire life, and honestly, many days I leave here in tears because of the mean and hateful things being said to me by people who claim to be “Christians”. People who have nothing else to do, no one else that needs help, so they hang out on the street and impose their moral and religious beliefs on anyone and everyone who comes through the door. The idea that anyone could think a mean thought about me is emotionally devastating. Anyone who knows anything about me knows better than that, yet it still hurts when I am yelled at. I waste time that I could be helping another person by giving out correct information because the flyers that are forced into peoples hands are not only inaccurate but many times are just a series of flat out lies.

I also personally take offense to anyone who feels they should have the right to make a decision for any body except their own without first being where that person has been and living through the experiences they have had. If someone tells me they would not make a good parent and want to be on birth control, I listen to them. No one knows you better than yourself.

When the anti-choice protestors tell me they will pray I don’t burn in hell, I ask them not to, because, quite honestly, I am already praying that they will be forgiven for their ignorance. That being closed minded and taking away the freedom of choice God granted to everyone has been done without a clear understnading of just how many people they are hurting and how many lives they are ruining by their actions. I am praying that the person they did intimidate away from our clinic doesn’t end up abusing the child they didn’t want to begin with.

Now, all of that being said, I find the entire donut event comical. Excellent marketing technique, not such a fan of the donuts. But if I want to choose to accept a free one, that is my legal right. I think it is the basis this country was formed on, but then I was educated through the public school system, so that may be inaccurate as well. :)

  65. AmandaB Says:

To Pro-Choice Employee … Your post should be published as a letter to the editor of every newspaper in America. It brought tears to my eyes and even more enlightenment. God bless you. Stay strong.

  66. Pro-Choice Employee Says:

Thanks, Amanda. What I didn’t mention is that I work for half the pay I would get anywhere else, have bullet proof windows in my office and am not allowed to open the blinds because it makes me an easier target. I didn’t mention it because it didn’t even cross my mind as I was writing. It all comes along with the choice I have made to help those who can’t afford to go to a regular doctor’s office. I make the same choice every morning when I get up and come in and will continue to do so as long as there are women that need the services I am able to provide.
